I am so grateful that you made it to 19 without being selected for the Hunger Games. As you can guess, this comes as a huge weight off of my shoulders, as, due to our seven year age difference, I would not have been able to volunteer for you had your name been drawn at the Reaping. Iβm not sure either one of us would have actually survived in the arena, but maybe we could have at least made it past the bloodbath at the Cornucopia. Hopefully, we wonβt have to worry about the Games much longer now that the Revolution is in full swing. Regardless, I am happy to have you alive and safe. See you in District 13!
Happy Birthday And May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor.

Even as you got older, you never let the Capitol or the Peacemakers stop you from doing the things you love… be it reading…

That time we went to District 4 and you had a thing with that cute sailor… What was his name? Billy? Oh well, it doesn’t matter. Anything Goes! π
What a cool photo journey/story for your sister’s B-Day! Best wishes to you guys and hopes you guys enjoy this special day.
Thank you so much! She might not be enjoying it as much as the rest of the family, because she is currently in the middle of college exams! 3 on a Saturday! But we will be sure to celebrate next week. π
This was fun to read. Happy birthday to your sister.
Thanks! I will let her know! She’s currently in the middle of college exams… on a Saturday!!!
Wow, what a loving post! You guys have a bond that those of us who don’t have (with their siblings) refer to as magic. So heartwarming to see. PS-Thanks for subscribing to my film reviews. π
Thank you! She is my best friend and favorite person in the world. It is magical! And you’re welcome! I look forward to reading your reviews! I’m a big movie fan! π
I came across this yesterday and really enjoyed reading it! (Not least because I spent two hours stuck in traffic on the way to the airport…) I’m glad to see you and your sister such enjoy a special bond, and that you express it with humor through the Hunger Games. Hope you both enjoyed her birthday!
Thank you so much! Actually, she’s still away at college taking exams, so we didn’t get to spend it together, but she will come home this week so we will be able to celebrate then! And yes, we are HUGE Hunger Games fans! I flew out to visit her at college just so we could go to the midnight premiere together! π
Thank you for liking a post:) Sounds like you have a special bond with your sister. That’s cool;)
You’re welcome! And thank you! We do. She’s my best friend. π
