This past weekend, I attended the North Texas Book Festival for the first time. I had an amazing time. The location was incredible, the speakers phenomenal, and I met so many wonderful new friends and authors. That’s my favorite part of these events, meeting new people and finding new books to read!
To get there on time, I woke up at 4:30 in the morning. For those who know me, that’s about the time I normally go to sleep. I actually had my alarm set for about 5:15, but I was too excited to go back to sleep, so before sunrise, my books and I were in the car and ready to go.
I was also incredibly excited for Boy Band to make it’s pre-release debut!
The other displays were incredible.
Perhaps best of all, the festival kept us incredibly well-fed: bagels, Cinnabon, fruit, cake, pizza, Schlotzsky’s… I don’t think I’ve ever been fed that much in my life!
Thank you for everything, North Texas Book Festival! I can’t wait until next year!
Oh, and because I know you were all wondering… MY SISTER AND I TOTALLY HAVE FLOOR TICKETS TO ED SHEERAN!!!!!!!!!!
Oo did you have any fruitcake? 🙂 It looks beautiful, Jackie! I can’t wait to see your set up at IVD.
Fruitcake is gross. So no. 😛
It’s a shame there weren’t cheeseballs 😛
Congratulations! I’m happy it went well! The books look interesting to read! 🙂
I’ve already read one and I couldn’t put it down! I’m such a little hoarder…
Love all the displays! And glad to read that you and Sis have tickets to see Ed Sheeran! 🙂
Yes. That is actually the most important thing that happened to me this weekend. All the rest are just tidbits. 😛
I’m so glad you had an amazing time! I can’t wait til Authorfest. !!! It’s going to be great!
I KNOW! It is so much fun, Paula! You’re gonna love it! I’m also very excited for this Saturday! ❤
Thank you so much for posting pictures of my novel and table!! It was a pleasure to meet you. 🙂
It was a pleasure to meet you as well! I’m sorry I didn’t tag you in the post! Please, feel free to use my pictures on your own blog or website! 🙂
No problem on the tagging. Just that it’s there is enough. 🙂
